Both these guitars are brand new and come from the workshop of Davy Stuart in Christchurch, New Zealand. They're based on the Black Beauty guitar commissioned by Chris Newman in 2005 and used by him for live shows since 2006.

The guitars have rosewood backs and sides, Italian spruce tops, mahogany necks and ebony fingerboards and bridges. The thing that makes these instruments extremely unusual is that they have 24 frets - a full four octaves in standard tuning. The cutaway makes access to these extra notes a bit easier!

Both guitars are fitted with K&K Pure Western pickups, are supplied in a hard case and are each priced at £1600.
