		Every tour relies heavily on a good crew - Martin (right) is in charge of sound (and by common consent is doing a good job) while Erich (left) drives the bus and makes sure we all arrive where we need to be at the right time...

	At this time of year there's a lot of snow, though the roads have been (so far) always clear.


	Maire, Micheal, Sean, Dietmar & Cathal crossing the river in Salzburg on December 6th...


	Salzburg, birthplace of one Wolfgang Amadeus, is well and truly into the Christmas market season. It's all done very nicely and is evidently extremely popular with tourists - it's packed! Visitors are well catered for though...endless numbers of places to buy all sorts of sausage-based snacks and the ubiquitous gluwein. You can ride around the town in a horse-drawn cart, and there are huge numbers of shops where salespeople will be delighted to help you empty your wallet.



On December 9th we crossed a high pass that took us up to 5881 feet. Loads of snow so we all got out to take a look...

	Desi (left) decided to have a go at skiing, but forgot one important element. For Mairtin (below) it was all just too much...

Sunday December 12th was another free day, this time in Vienna. Once again the Christmas markets are everywhere. Most impressive city though...
