This gorgeous old Irish tune is named for a beautiful area of County Galway in the west of Ireland. Máire found it in the unpublished MSS of Edward Bunting, preserved in the Special Collections Library of Queen’s University, Belfast. She and her sisters (The Casey Sisters) are grateful to the Library for permission to record it on their album Sibling Revelry (Old Bridge Music, OBMCD22, 2015).
